Beach Rock, California.
Waves crash upon a shore littered with large rock formations called Knockers, too big to be called boulders and too small to be mapped. These rocks are a result of tectonic subduction in the Mesozoic Era (roughly 250 million years ago).
This region was originally inhabited by the Kumeyaay peoples. 10% of profits from the sale of this photograph will benefit the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center.
